317 stainless steel pipe is a premium austenitic alloy pipe enhanced with high molybdenum content (2.00-3.00%), delivering exceptional corrosion resistance and mechanical performance. Designed for harsh industrial environments, it outperforms standard 304/316 grades in chloride-rich, acidic, and high-temperature conditions, ensuring long-term reliability for critical pipeline systems.
Key Features
Superior Corrosion Resistance: Resists pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in seawater, chemical solvents, and acidic media.
High Temperature Tolerance: Maintains structural stability at temperatures up to 870°C (1600°F), suitable for high-heat industrial processes.
Strong Mechanical Properties: Tensile strength ≥ 515 MPa, yield strength ≥ 205 MPa, with excellent ductility and weldability (compatible with TIG/MIG welding).
Smooth Surface Finish: Available in 2B (cold-rolled) or BA (bright-annealed) finish, reducing fluid friction and preventing residue buildup.
